TRACTION MOTORS MAINTENANCE
El.Ca. has gained significant experience and expertise in the maintenance and repair of traction and auxiliary motors both in alternating current and direct current, in fact he has carried out interventions on c. motors for Trenitalia. of the locomotives E-402A, E-402B, E-403, E-464, of the ETR 500 3kV, of the multi-voltage ETR series ’96 and series 2002, of the ETR 460-480, of the TAF and of the Minuetto.
It also intervened on several of motors in c. continuous of locomotives E-636, E-424, E-645/646, E-655/656, E632 / 633, E-652, ETR-450, electric cars Ale 601, Ale 801/940, ALe 582/642/724 , and on the alternators of the diesel-electric locomotive D-445, on the DC engines and generators of the loco D-343/345/445; it also has a large quantity of spare parts for these engines.
El.Ca. currently has a four-year contract for the repair / maintenance of the engines of the subways, tramways and trolleybuses of ATM – Milan, and the two-year contract for the same activities on the traction motors of the rolling stock of EAV – Campania (formerly Circumvesuviana, Sepsa and MetroCampania North East).
It also has an ongoing two-year contract for the repair of the 4EXH-4046 type engines of the TRENORD Ale582.
- CONSTRUCTION OF TRACTION ENGINES
For Ansaldo-Breda, El.Ca. has built a new armatures of the traction motors in c. of the ETR 500 multi-voltage (Freccia Rossa), of the ETR 500 3 kV (Freccia Bianca) and of the E-402 locomotive.
It also built, for Trenitalia, armatures for the AC traction engines E402A and armatures in c. continuous of locomotives E-656.
Also for Ansaldo, El.Ca. has built a new c motors. alternating of Metro Riyad, Metro Brescia, Tram Oslo, Metro Copenhagen and the stators of the V250 Holland – Belgium engines.
- REPAIR AND / OR MAINTENANCE OF MAGNETIC MACHINES: INDUCTANCES, REACTANCES, TRANSFORMERS
El.Ca. for several years it has been the holder of the open repair contract for all magnetic machines in operation on Trenitalia vehicles, while for TRENORD it has repaired some commutation and motor inductances and HV filter inductances.
- REPAIR AND / OR MAINTENANCE OF ELECTRONIC POWER EQUIPMENT (STATIC CONVERTERS), ELECTRONIC BOARDS AND RACKS
or Trenitalia, El.Ca. has repaired several Static Converters installed on carriages, while, as part of the Revamping of the ET-400 EAVs, he upgrades the Chopper Drives with integration of the line filter capacitors and motor fans, modification of the GTO driving system with cables with optical fibers and diagnostic software update.
- REPAIR AND / OR MAINTENANCE OF ELECTROMECHANICAL EQUIPMENT: STARTERS, INVERTERS, OPERATING BENCHES, PANTOGRAPHS, CONTACTORS, RHEOSTATS, SWITCHES
For EAV, El.Ca. is carrying out the Revamping of 13 ET-400 ex Sepsa electric trains, rolling stock built by Firema, during which all the above equipment is repaired and / or overhauled.
In collaboration with RailMaint Gmbh, the revamping of 12 Fe-220 EAV ex Circumvesuviana electric trains is underway, of which all the control boxes are rewired with standard cables and all worn or obsolete components are replaced and / or overhauled.
The same operation of wiring remaking and complete / overhauling of all components is also underway on the bodies and equipment of 25 T-21 ex Circumvesuviana electric trains subject to Revamping works of which Titagarh-Firema is the owner. For the Fe-220 electric trains, El.Ca. it also carried out the design and construction of the new Starting and Braking Rheostat with steel plates.
